Sony Hidden Senses
Innovation strategy for the future of
tech-enabled sensory experiences that
deliver an emotional connection between the
object and the user.
The partnership with Sony’s R&D Team was delivered through a series of bespoke research presentations, workshops and innovation sprints exploring the future of experience in the context of interactive technology.
The result was a series of concepts for a new category of products we defined as ‘abstract electronics’ which focused on creating more emotive and personalised relationships with the user. This included e.g. lights that follow the user’s movements and glassware that augments user experience through audio stimuli.
The project resulted in a series of prototypes which were presented at the Hidden Senses exhibition at the Milan Design Week.
